Daniela Teixeira

Researcher, PhD Student

Daniela Teixeira is a wildlife biologist with experience in small mammal’s and carnivores. Currently, she is a PhD student in Biology and Ecology of Global Change, at the University of Aveiro, and her study focus the effects of Eucalyptus plantations on mesocarnivores ecology and conservation in Portugal. The main goal of her project is to understand the impacts of Eucalyptus production forests on wildlife populations, by unraveling the mechanistic links between plantation structure and management, and wildlife spatial and trophic patterns and processes.
